Every Sunday NYBA will host the Sunday Skills & Drills Clinics @ McGavock High! Get professional training & skill work led by NYBA directors including Former NBA 1^st Round Pick Dontae’ Jones, University of Tennessee Standout & Pro Corey Allen, FIBA champ Ndidi Madu, Top National Coach David Keary (Coach K), Juan Adams, Tracy Bell, McKinley Young, & More.

When: Sundays (starting Sept. 7, 2025) through February 2026

Winter Break Camp @ The ACADEMY Get ahead of the rest of the competition by putting work in on your spring break with NYBAs Winter Break training Camp. The camp will be held for 3 days during Metro Winter break and will last 3 hours each day. Special Guests Coaches Include former NBA & Professional Players, as well as current College & High School Coaches. Get the BEST basketball skill training in the mid-state and get tuned up to Kick the season off STRONG!

NYBA Summer Camp Program

2025 Summer Camp

2025 will mark the 8th year for the NYBA Summer Program. This well designed program was established to not only provide summer camp for the kids, but also teach life lessons of how to utilize the skills learned on the court into their daily activities. Motivational & Inspirational messages will be the focus of the program. Giving the youth encouragement, confidence, & a better knowledge for the game of basketball and life is the Goal!

Former NBA 1st Round Draft Pick & NCAA Final Four MVP Dontae’ Jones will host the training sessions daily and lead the basketball instruction for the participants. Guest Speakers will be brought in daily along with experienced educators directing the morning lessons. Methods such as stretching & meditation will be used to help with mental stress & physical relief. Top basketball trainers will be training the participants daily using exercise equipment & proven techniques. Professional Coaches will be brought in to break down game actions and basketball IQ.

This year will be hosted at the NYBA ACADEMY on the Northwest side of Downtown Nashville (Except June 16-19 which will be at Knowledge Academies in Antioch). The facility includes 6 basketball goals, training equipment, shooting machine, vetimax, weight room, recovery room, classroom, lounge, & more! Breakfast, lunch, & a snack are provided to all participants daily.

The program will also include a Day league for participants to play and get game experience.
